It was the “Dale and Dale Show” in the Daytona 500 on February 14, 1993. Dale Earnhardt was in his usual place in the Daytona 500, leading the Great American Race. Dale Jarrett, running his first Cup race for Joe Gibbs Racing, was running second. With his father Ned Jarrett calling the race for CBS Sports, Jarrett passed Earnhardt on the low side of Turn 2 and held on to win his first of three Daytona 500s.
