Darrell Waltrip - It's Huge To Win The Daytona 500
Darrell Waltrip struggled to win his first Daytona 500 much like Dale Earnhardt. He needed 17 attempts to win the Daytona 500 and had several close calls at the win. He finally won “The Great American Race” in 1989 driving the No. 17 Tide Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports.
